The Dark Room

The Dark Room is an interactive fiction where the user must navigate the 3D space around their physical selves using information given back via audio from the game. The Kinect uses the skeleton data to place the character in the virtual world and read their actions in that format.

Along with redesigning the initial prototype, I created audio assets and wrote script for the voice actors.

 

The Dark Room was the first time I really used a virtualization of 3D space for the intent of user navigation.
