A game of rhythmic sacrifice
Cortez Sez
In Cortez Sez, you play as an Aztec Priest trying to successfully perform a sacrificial dance to appease your gods. Upon success, the priest will turn around and rip the still-beating heart from the sacrifice.

I primarily dealt with audio asset creation and implementation. I was also involved in the conceptual design.
Cortez Sez was created for Global Game Jam 2013 where the theme was a short audio clip of a heart beating. The game was created in under 48 hours. Through this project I began to take an increased understanding in audio manipulation and what it takes to make a rhythm-based game.
